SSS Imposes Mandatory Online Transactions and Checkless Disbursements

Don't have the time to go to SSS to process your transactions?  Or you are not  comfortable going through a long queue just to apply for an SSS number?

Fret no more.  Now, you can make your SSS transactions in the comfort of your home or office.

The state-run pension fund Social Security System (SSS) imposes mandatory implementation of online transactions such as application for salary or calamity loans, to provide its members and claimants with faster, safer, more convenient and economical means of completing their transactions with the agency.

This new SSS circular is in compliance with the Ease in Doing Business and Efficient Government Services Delivery Act of 2018, which mandates all government offices and agencies to provide services with simplified procedure that will lessen red tape and expedite government transactions.

SCHEDULE OF MANDATORY IMPLEMENTATION

So, check out this schedule and mark your calendar for a streamlined processing of your transaction.

Final Thoughts

SSS is indeed going digital. We should expect more changes in the way we process our business as they continously innovate and create programs that answer our needs.

Thus, making the processing of our transactions easier and more efficient.

Have you tried using the online system of SSS? Please share your experience by writing in our Comment Section. I am sure SSS users would be glad to know.

  11. This is great news! Hopefully in the future, we can now check our SSS contributions in realtime, just like how we check our superannuation here in Australia.
