Dr. Paolo Bellosillo: Resiliency in the Middle of the Pandemic

They say that it is during the most trying times that a person’s real character is revealed. When things don’t go according to plan and people are tested to their limits, this is when a person’s mask that he presents to society is stripped away.

This couldn’t be more when it comes to Doc Paolo Bellosillo. Doc Paolo Bellosillo has been helping people live their best life by teaching them more about Holistic and Integrative Medicine. When the pandemic hit, Doc Pao pivoted and focused on helping people survive the pandemic.

An International Specialist of St Stamford Modern Cancer Hospital and proclaimed Most Outstanding Private Citizen given by PNP, Doc Pao exemplifies what resiliency is all about. He did not let the pandemic stop him from touching people’s lives and making a difference in this world.

Tireless in his efforts to give aid to those who need him most and to show support to fellow frontliners, Doc Pao stays out so that others can stay home and stay safe.

This year, Christmas is not as felt as it has been in the past because of the ongoing pandemic, typhoons, earthquakes, and volcanic eruptions. Despite the despair and death happening all around, this country has survived together and moved forward as one nation.

Doc Pao is grateful, though, that the Filipino spirit remains well and alive. It takes a lot to break a heart but thankfully, the Filipino spirit is not easy to break. We are a loving race, and we have heaps of charity, love, service, and humanity.

This Christmas, Doc Pao will be sharing his blessings by providing food for the hungry, water for the thirsty, and medicine for the sick. He also plans to visit the Lord and have a dialogue with him. Lastly, he will be with his family enjoying a family meal cooked healthily to ensure that he can live his best life.

Happy to Make You Happy Again: DOT Promotes Safe Travels and Supports Tourism Workers

Now that the Philippines has reopened several tourist destinations after many months of closure, it’s time to show the country how to smile again.

The DOT’s latest video, following the “Noypi” tribute to medical frontliners, brings us back to familiar, yet slightly different territory: tourism in the new normal.

Scenes from a typical out-of-town trip—partaking in tourism activities, lounging by scenic spots, al fresco dining in the moonlight—are interjected with images that we have only this year become accustomed to, like face masks and shields, gloved hospitality staff, and the constant reminders to keep physical distancing.

Singer Armi Millare’s rendition of “You,” a song popularized by Basil Valdez forty years ago but forever timeless in the romantic Pinoy’s heart, accompanies the narrative of a young man and woman seemingly meeting for the first time as they arrive on an island.

More than a campaign to remind tourists to adhere to new normal guidelines, “Have a Safe Trip, Pinas” shows that we can still experience magic when traveling amidst the pandemic.

The strict health and safety protocols implemented by hotels, transport services, and other tourism operations are there to keep guests safe and observing them allows us to appreciate the special moments without the worry.

The video also highlights the community benefits of tourism. Behind the happy memories that visitors make and the souvenirs they take home are the hardworking people who make everything happen.

The final scenes show real people from Boracay whose jobs and livelihoods were restored when travel commenced. They truly are pleased to welcome you back, because no mask can hide a smile from the heart.

Visit philippines.travel/safetrip for information on reopened destinations and their respective health and safety protocols. You may also download the DOT’s official app at app.philippines.travel

Three Easy and Simple Steps in Writing a Restaurant Review in Food Panda App

Wednesday, November 25, 2020

Ordering food online is the new normal. Gone are the days when our mother would cook our meals, serving them hot on the table.

Now, with just a few clicks on our smartphone, we can have our favorite meals delivered to our doorsteps.

Thanks to the food delivery services such as Food Panda. They answer our needs to buy our favorite pizza or hamburgers while we stay in the comfort of our homes.

However, buying food online lacks face-to-face interaction with the restaurant, hindering us from sharing our dining experience immediately.

Three Easy and Simple Steps in Writing a Restaurant Review in Food Panda App

Expressing our dining experience in Food Panda is not a problem. The application allows customer to give their review after 10 minutes from the time the food arrived.

Here are the three simple steps to express our satisfaction or dissatisfaction with a restaurants' food or services.

  1. A pop-up message asking for your rating will be sent to you after 10 minutes from receipt of your food;
    2.  Select the number of stars (from 1 star to 5 stars) reflecting your feedback'

    3.  Give a descriptive remark relative to your rating.

Making a restaurant review can only be done through the pop-up message. Once it disappears or the exit button is clicked accidentally, you can no longer give your feedback.

The Importance of a Restaurant Review

Good or bad reviews have an immediate effect on restaurants. Good reviews can help the restaurants make more revenues, while bad reviews can influence your customers to try other restaurants.

1. Most customers read restaurant reviews before deciding which store to order food from;

2. Positive review confidently allows the restaurant to market their food products online;

3. Bad review serves as an insight into the restaurants with regards to improving their products and customer service.

Final Thoughts

Restaurant reviews play an important role in business. That is why business owners welcome customers' reviews.

If you are a business owner who ignores reviews, you are surely missing a great income opportunity.

Munchers Cafe, for example, which is located at B Building, Corner Capitan Sabi Ext. - Sta. Monica St., in front of Notre Dame School, in Carmela Valley Homes, Talisay City welcomes their customers' feedback.

So, on your next order, do not forget to click on that star that represents your reaction to the restaurant’s food and customer service.

Samsung crafted the Galaxy Z Fold2 5G to empower users to be just as determined, flexible, and confident as the smartphone itself.

The latest premium device unfolds more ways to juggle different roles now more than ever.

Built for Broadening Horizons

The Galaxy Z Fold2 5G’s delicately refined UI elevates the overall user experience quality.

When folded, the display of Galaxy Z Fold2 5G’s 6.2-inch Infinity-O Super AMOLED Cover Screen makes it easy to do everything from viewing content to taking pictures or replying to messages.

When unfolded, the device’s 7.6-inch Infinity Flex Dynamic AMOLED 2.0 Main Screen is handy for capturing and viewing photos and videos.

Combining the Cover Screen and the Main Screen makes the Galaxy Z Fold2 5G similar in size to a typical smartphone when folded and a small tablet when opened.

When viewing content, the thinner bezels and notch-less display maximize immersion, offering the full benefits that come with a bigger screen.

The Freedom of Flexibility

Like its predecessor, the Galaxy Z Fold2 5G was designed with an emphasis on flexibility and versatility.

It adjusts its form to suit the task at hand, perfectly complementing roles and tasks needed to be done.

The Galaxy Z Fold2 5G can be used at various angles to suit every need – opened wide, opened just enough for comfort, or folded partially.

The key here is the Galaxy Z Fold2 5G’s convenient Flex mode, which automatically splits the Main Screen into two sections, giving a comfortable view of the content on the top half and controls on the bottom.

The smartphone can also be held upright when partially folded, freeing hands to handle other things.

It offers complete freedom to multitask from displaying videos while folded to enabling video calls on one side of their screen while taking notes on the other.

The Confidence to be Different

With its simple form, consisting of straight lines, and colors that exemplify modern elegance, the Galaxy Z Fold2 5G exudes a sophisticated design that turns heads.

The Mystic Bronze variant has a textured haze effect, while Mystic Black features an elegant hue designed to recall the city’s atmosphere.

The foldable device was carefully crafted to have a design that’s not only slim, sturdy, and appealing to the eye but also fits comfortably into the hands.

It gives maximum usability to check email, look up directions, or watch content even with one-hand grip.

DOT and Nissan Promote Local Tourism by Launching “Safe Trips” Campaign

As the government is slowly promoting local tourism, the Department of Tourism (DOT) and Nissan Philippines have embarked on a unique road trip geared towards promoting safe and responsible land traveling to boost domestic tourism.

Tourism Secretary Bernadette Romulo-Puyat and Nissan Philippines President and Managing Director Atsushi Najima signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) on “Safe Trips” today, November 5 (Thursday).
“With the Safe Trips campaign, we hope to spark a renewed interest in travel by encouraging road trips, one of the oldest and truly memorable ways to see and explore the beauty of the Philippines,” said Puyat.

"As more people have started to travel locally, we look forward with great optimism that livelihoods and jobs in the tourism sector will soon return,” she added.

The MOA encourages us to go on a road trip, visit our favorite places in the country while observing health and safety protocols.

The ‘Safe Trips’ campaign aims to promote local tourism by highlighting tourist destinations that are opening up from lockdown restrictions, encourage travelers to explore tourism spots with emphasis on safety protocols and procedures for traveling, promote land travel and road trips as a way to visit domestic tourist destinations and feature DOT-accredited business.

“Depending on where you are in the Philippines, visiting many of these destinations is possible just by getting in your car and going for a drive. That being said, travelers are still encouraged to responsibly adhere to the health protocols that enabled the reopening of our tourism destinations,” said Puyat.

Tourism is one of top-income earners of the country. In 2019, local tourists logged 110 million domestic trips, which generated 3.14 trillion pesos in domestic tourism expenditure. Tourism contributed 12.7 percent to the country’s GDP; domestic tourism accounts for 10.8 percent.
